In the US, voting rights for these two groups came about as a result of long, hard sacrifices, with DEADLY consequences in many situations. To be a member of either of these groups and not vote is to be flip and dismissive of the sacrifices made by those who paved the way and is quite tragic. I also don’t understand the concept of being a Hillary supporter and now throwing your support behind McCain. How could one possibly think that McCain’s policies and platform are more in keeping with Clinton as compared to Obama? People really need to move forward with actions that are best for this country as a whole. If you are/were a Clinton supporter please look at all the facts regarding McCain and Obama and their positions regarding the issues. I strongly doubt that you will walk away thinking that McCain best represents Clinton’s ideals.
