This is also a tactic the McCain camp is using to run down the election clock. Since there is so little time left until the election and with McCain down in the polls, the fewer times McCain and Plain are caught blundering on camera the better (for them). McCain has not run on substance and true issues, and has resorted to playing games. The unfortunate part is that is games involve the lives of Americans. How pathetic! This is not the way to put your “country first”!

Wow. Paulson's almost got Congress over a barrel. Think about it: he's essentially saying, "Approve this quick or the markets remain jittery and we have a meltdown on our hands."

He and Bernanke sure looked jittery testifying to Congress!

The whole “I’m not going to vote” line of thinking is completely ridiculous and is even more mind-boggling coming from blacks and women. In the US, voting rights for these two groups came about as a result of long, hard sacrifices, with DEADLY consequences in many situations. To be a member of either of these groups and not vote is to be flip and dismissive of the sacrifices made by those who paved the way and is quite tragic.
I also don’t understand the concept of being a Hillary supporter and now throwing your support behind McCain. How could one possibly think that McCain’s policies and platform are more in keeping with Clinton as compared to Obama? People really need to move forward with actions that are best for this country as a whole. If you are/were a Clinton supporter please look at all the facts regarding McCain and Obama and their positions regarding the issues. I strongly doubt that you will walk away thinking that McCain best represents Clinton’s ideals.
